Dear members and patrons,
As you are aware inflationary and supply chain issues are impacting everyone and we are not immune. As a result, we are writing to inform you of a price increase for 2023, that will come into effect from Thursday 29 December 2022.
At Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) we value our members and transparency. The last 12 months alone has seen a:
- 20% increase in electricity and gas costs
- 28% increase in chemical costs (to run the pools)
- A significant CPI increase (which includes sourcing supplies and materials to operate the centre)
We know the challenges of the last three years have been very real for everyone and we are proud that we’ve been able to support our members and programs by freezing prices during this period, while also introducing flexible options in our membership packages.
