Welcome to 2022

We hope and trust that you had an enjoyable holiday break across the Christmas-New Year period, taking the time to relax and unwind with family and friends from the year that was 2021.

Throughout 2021 and into 2022 our focus remains the well-being and safety of you, our members, is at the forefront of everything we do so you can train, swim, play and participate with confidence at MUSAC.

There is no hiding from the fact that COVID-19 has been a very real and consistent presence in our daily lives for the past two years.

We continue to remain vigilant with the implementation of our COVIDSafe plan for your and our staff’s safety. In addition to our sustained efforts implementing our COVIDSafe plan for your and staff safety, we will continue to speak personally with those that may have come into contact with a person with COVID-19 at MUSAC and have been assessed as high risk.

As we collectively navigate through the next stage of the global pandemic, you all no doubt will have experienced firsthand the shortages and limitations that have come as a byproduct of increased community transmission. Businesses across the country continue to operate with reduced staff availability and MUSAC is no different in this regard.

We thank you for, and kindly ask that you continue to show the patience with our staff on-site. Many have worked extra shifts to ensure we can adequately service our membership base and keep the doors open.

Have you tried the new Health Club equipment?

Across the Christmas-New Year break MUSAC undertook a refit of the Health Club.

Over 50 pieces of new cardio equipment, 100 pieces of new strength equipment and the new Women’s training zone were all installed. And soon we will add a 20m Astro turf sled track to that list!

We know some of the new equipment might seem a little daunting or unfamiliar to some members. Over the coming weeks we will share some ‘how-to’ videos and information about interacting with the new smart equipment, so you can get the most out of your personal experience.

Additionally, our Health Club staff continue to be on hand to not only answer your questions but help familiarize you with the new and exciting equipment.

We're keen to hear your thoughts about the equipment, so please share your feedback with us.
