Dear Members and Patrons of Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre,
The NSW Premier advised today that the Greater Sydney lockdown will continue until 11:59pm Friday 16th July 2021.
During this time Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) will remain closed. However, we look forward to connecting with you soon about our re-opening plan and what it means for each member and patron.
I want to take this opportunity to re-affirm our determination to provide a safe working, exercising, and training environment so you can return to MUSAC with confidence.
In the meantime, please continue to make use of our FREE online content available to all members and patrons via our digital channels.

The Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) Team have been preparing to re-open our facilities in response to the NSW Government’s intention to end the greater Sydney lockdown.
As we wait for confirmation from the NSW Premier, we want to take the time to re-affirm to you our determination to provide a safe working, exercising, and training environment for our community.
The safety of our members has and always will be our number one priority. MUSAC is a COVIDSafe environment, open and welcome to all, that you can visit with confidence.

MUSAC COVIDSafe Update - 26/06/2021
Dear Members and Patrons of Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre,
The NSW Premier advised today at 2pm that Greater Sydney will enter lockdown from 6:00pm 26th June 2021 until 11:59pm Friday 9th July 2021.
Following this announcement, Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) will be closed during this time.
What does this mean for me?
Direct Debit Members:
Please be advised all direct debit memberships will be placed on automatic suspension during the facility shut down period.
During this time no payments will be processed.
This suspension will not affect the normal allocation of suspension days for your membership.
Upfront / Term Memberships:
All term memberships will be placed on suspension during the facility shut down.
The duration of the shutdown will be automatically added to the end of your membership term, so you can access the full term of your membership when the facility re-opens.
Learn to Swim / Gymnastics / Martial Arts Members:
All Children’s Programs will be placed on hold for the duration of the facility shut down.
Your time and day of lessons will not change and will be available when the facility re-opens.
During the time of closure there will be no direct debits made to your account and you will not be required to mark your lesson(s) absent during this period.
For the lessons already paid for in the last direct debit, you will automatically receive a credit which will be applied to the first direct debit when the facility re-opens.
Children’s Holiday Programs:
All bookings made for the Children’s Holiday Programs scheduled to take place from Monday 28th June 2021 – Friday 9th July 2021 will be issued a full refund.
Social Sport Competitions:
All Social Sport Competitions will be placed on hold for the length of the facility shutdown.
Your time and day of competitions will not change and will remain as scheduled upon re-opening.
During the time of the shutdown there will be no refunds issued.
Multi-Visit Pass Holders:
All multi-visit passes will be placed on suspension during the facility shut down.
The duration of the closure will automatically be added to the end of your visit pass term, to enable you to access the remaining duration of your pass when the centre re-opens.
Bookings:
All bookings and hirers of the facility will be suspended during the shutdown.
Any member or external venue hirer who have prepaid for a booking during this time will receive a credit to their account that can be used once the facility re-opens.
