Partial closure of Gymnasium Road from Monday October 24

Dear members and patrons,

In addition to the partial closure of Gymnasium Road, the Northern carpark (located in front of the Observatory and opposite the construction site) will have some staged essential works undertaken between Thursday 3rd November and Tuesday 8th November.

The Northern carpark will remain open during this time, albeit with less spots available.

We ask that members please consider accessing either the West 5 and West 6 carparks via Link Road (located off Culloden Road, towards the Epping Road end) across this period.

We look forward to returning an updated Northern carpark to members and patrons soon.

Dear members and patrons,

From Monday 24 October only single lane road access will be available on Gymnasium Road to facilitate works on the construction site located opposite Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC).

While the lane closure is expected to last up to 6 weeks, traffic-controlled access to Gymnasium Road will remain during this period and the Northern carpark (located in front of the Observatory and opposite the construction site) will continue to operate.

We ask that members and patrons please consider these conditions when accessing Gymnasium Road, and to also consider accessing either the West 5 and West 6 carparks via Link Road (located off Culloden Road, towards the Epping Road end).

A new temporary pedestrian path will be opened along Gymnasium Road, while the pathway overlooking the outdoor 50m pool leading to and from the West 5 and West 6 carparks will remain open.

We look forward to returning full use of Gymnasium Road to members and patrons soon.
