Access to the centre is granted via membership card/wristband, allocated to you upon your first visit. Please note that all memberships are subject to screening by our staff. You will be required to provide:

- payment details
- proof of your membership eligibility

New member orientation session
MACStarter is an optional 30-minute group orientation session designed to help familiarise new gold and fitness members with the Health Club of Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC).
This orientation will provide an overview of our facilities including:
- Health Club/gym tour
- Demonstration of equipment
- A chance to meet our Health Club team and other members
- Introduction to programs and additional services
- Gym etiquette
- Locker demonstration
- Changeroom and water fountain locations
- A 7-day trial to our small group training program - MAC40
