Both our outdoor and indoor pools are available for hire for your next aquatic-based event.

Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre is home to two heated swimming pools:

  • 50 metre outdoor Olympic pool – eight lanes, or up to 16 x 25 metre lanes if the swim wall is used, heated to 26 degrees Celsius.
  • 25 metre indoor Learn to Swim pool – six lanes heated to 31 degrees Celsius.

We can cater for:

  • school swimming carnivals and programs
  • program hire
  • water polo matches
  • corporate events.

Lap lane swimming availability

Members and casual patrons can swim at their own speed in our indoor and outdoor pools.
