Public Holiday Closure
Due to the National Public Holiday on Friday 26 January 2024, Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) will be closed. No classes or programs will run on this day.
The centre will reopen Saturday 27 January at 6am with regularly scheduled classes and programs returning.
We look forward to welcoming all members, patrons, and guests back to MUSAC on Saturday 27 January.
Session 1 Social Competition
Registration for our upcoming Session 1 social competition will open from 9am on Monday 5 February until 5pm Sunday, 3 March 2024.

Our social competitions are perfect for those looking for a fun and friendly environment to play team sport.
Competitions are all mixed and open to everyone 16 years and older. Register as a team or an individual.
Competition capacity is limited so register early to avoid missing out!

Squad Skills classes
The Squad team will be running Skills Classes from Tuesday, 30 January 2024. The Skills Classes are open to children enrolled in Learn to Swim Seal level and above.
These are perfect the prepare for the upcoming school swimming carnival season. These classes are designed to teach the technical skills required for swimming at your best.

Active Kids Vouchers
Current Active Kids vouchers will expire on 31 January 2024. Please submit your voucher to macsport@mq.edu.au by Thursday 25 January to ensure the voucher is redeemed before its expiry.
From February 2024, there will be changes to the Active Kids voucher program. Please visit the ServiceNSW website to find out more.
Quarter 1 2024 Membership Competition
New year, new prizes! Simply visit the centre 12 or more times between 1 January - 31 March 2024 to be entered into our Quarter 1 Member Competition.

Kickstart week
Macquarie University Kickstart Week will take place from Monday, 12 February – Friday 16 February 2024. We are excited to be welcoming thousands of new students to the Campus - the Centre will be buzzing with activity!
Please be patient with us during this time as we expect the volume of enquiries to greatly increase.

New School Zone – Culloden Road
Between Tuesday, 16 January and Monday, 29 January Transport for NSW will be completing work to set up a new school zone on Culloden Road in anticipation of the opening of NextSense school.
Please be aware that there will be a change in traffic conditions while the work is being completed and the school zone will come into effect from Tuesday, 30 January 2024.
