Pride Month Wrap-up

Social Competitions Pride Round

During the final week of the 2023 Semester 1 Competitions, we saw teams take part in our Pride in Sport round. In partnership with Pride in Sport we celebrate, develop, and better enhance sport participation for the LGBTQIA+ community. It was fantastic to see teams showing their support wearing bright vibrant colours during the games. We look forward to doing this again in our next competition.

Group Fitness Pride Spectacular

To round out Pride month, on Thursday, 29th June, four of our Group Fitness classes transformed into a Pride Spectacular with lights, music and fabulous outfits. Our Group Fitness instructors teamed up to deliver wonderful Pride themed Body Pump, Body Attack, Core and Zumba classes. We had 150 people attend over the 4 classes. Wow!

At MUSAC and Campus Life we are committed to providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all people, including those of diverse sexualities and genders.

We celebrate diversity of sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, intersex status, ability, skill, cultural background, ethnicity, location, religious or political beliefs, and life stage. There is a place for you in our programs, exactly as you are.

Campus Life has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of discrimination, bullying, harassment, or vilification of LGBTQIA+ people. Homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia are not tolerated within our sport programs, activities, and facilities.
