Each sport offered is provided under the guidance of qualified coaches and instructors.

The program focuses on the acquisition of gross motor skills — as well as teaching the students the basic skills specific to the chosen sport through fun games and skills development.
Our team sports encourage students to work together, and our singular activities focus on individual skill progression. All sports and activities offered with the school sport program are fully adaptable to the needs of the school.

With over 16 sport clubs on campus — and a strong University sports representative program — we have access to many qualified and accredited coaches who can deliver a wide variety of school sport and recreational activities.
Students will be taught the technical skills, drills and requirements of the selected sport or recreational activity while encouraging teamwork, friendship and motivation.
All coaches have current first aid certifications as well as working with children checks.
Prices are based per student with a minimum of 20 students per sport (15 for parkour). For groups under the minimum, additional costs may apply.
Higher priced activities reflect a higher staff to student ratio, specialised instructor or equipment costs or facilities.

A school must submit their public liability received from the Department of Education. See the Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre Terms and Conditions of Hire.
Should a school sport outdoor facility booking be cancelled due to wet weather notice, when possible, will be given a minimum of two hours prior to the session.
If the session is cancelled on behalf of Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre no charge will incur. If the booking is forfeited on behalf of the school, the fee will remain as originally quoted.
